Lahaina, Day 4

We just returned from Lahaina where we saw the movie Hancock and we ate at Bubba Gump's. fI have never eaten so much shrimp in my life. I usually avoid seafood altogether but I decided to try something new and I loved it. If you never been to Bubba Gump's you have to try it. Good service and good food.

Despite some rocky times today with attitudes and emotions running high, we managed to have a good time. We are lucky to have good companionship on this trip. Debi and her family have made the experience exciting and enjoyable.

We are looking forward to going to church tomorrow in the local Ward.

It's a bit strange to be sitting here writing this with the sound of the ocean right outside my balcony door. It is quite soothing.

FHE with the Taylors

We had a great time spending the evening with the Taylor family. We had an awesome lesson on testimonies from Staci. We tried fruit basket because Mark had never played it before but Noah banged his head pretty hard while attempting to hurdle a chair. We then sat around for a bit and played Imagine if... It was fun. We always have a good time at the Taylors. They genuinely love people and love having fun.

Start of the summer of 2008

This summer is starting off on the right foot. Our family is going to be going to Hawaii this week for eight days. We are so excited. We can't really afford to do this trip but we have been planning it for several years. The kids are really stoked. Karen and I are both excited and worried. We don't want our lack of funds to impact the experience. I am confident that we will make the best of the trip. I checked the weather forecast and it looks like we will get rain for most of our stay there.

We are going to Maui to be more specific. Everyone we have talked to says it is sooo beautiful.

We will post pictures when we get back.
